Loki Kraken Attack is a cooperative game where players work together to defeat the monstrous Kraken and its gnarly tentacles before it sinks their ship. Players use their special powers and their sabers, cannons, pistols or tools to keep the Kraken at bay.
Each player has a special power and action cards. On their turn, they strategise with their pirate crew, and decide which steps to take to keep the tentacles and the Kraken from damaging their ship. If the players are able to destroy the Kraken before it puts 4 holes in their ship, they win!
Kraken Attack is a challenging cooperative game, because there are a number of steps to take on each turn and a number of possible moves. Once you understand the rules, it is a fabulous game. Well worth persisting.
The game can be easily adjusted to make it harder than the standard game play, or easier.
